SLEEVECODE — Privacy Policy

Effective 17 October 2026

Publisher and contact

Christopher Breifjell-Bakke, operating under the L03V Labs brand, is the publisher and controller for support correspondence. Contact: [email protected].

Local app operation

SLEEVECODE is a local audio tag editor. The app does not send your audio, artwork, metadata, device identifiers, usage data, analytics or crash reports to the publisher or third parties. It has no tracking, advertising or app account, and its editing functions work offline.

Files you choose

You grant access through the macOS file picker or drag and drop. Audio, tags and artwork are processed on your Mac. File attributes and available space are inspected for safe saving. Changes are staged until you explicitly save or rename. Removing a track from the worklist does not delete the source file. The app may request containing-folder access for safe replacement.

Local settings and recovery copies

Appearance, language, genre lists, column layout and filename templates are stored locally. The worklist is not restored across launches using persistent access bookmarks. File operations may create temporary working copies and safety backups; recovery copies may remain if recovery is needed. The app does not upload these copies. You manage original and recovery files in Finder. Active file access ends when the app closes. Preferences remain until reset or the app container is removed; macOS may retain preferences after uninstalling.

Apple and file providers

If you choose files in iCloud Drive or another file provider, macOS and that provider handle synchronization under their own policies. Apple separately handles the one-time Mac App Store purchase, payment and optional system diagnostics. SLEEVECODE has no app subscription or in-app purchases. TagLib processes tags locally without a network service in this app.

If you email support

Support is optional. Your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send are used to answer and follow up your request. Do not send audio files or personal information unless necessary. Support email is received through iCloud Mail, an Apple email service. Email processing is separate from the offline app; the app does not automatically send support data. The basis for handling voluntary support correspondence is the publisher’s legitimate interest in responding to requests and providing support. Correspondence is deleted no later than 12 months after the case is closed, unless legal claims or obligations require longer retention.

Your choices and rights

For support correspondence, you can contact [email protected] to request access, correction or deletion, or exercise other applicable data-protection rights. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and ask for restriction where applicable. You can complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority. The publisher does not receive a copy of your local music or app preferences through normal app operation.

Scope and changes

This policy concerns SLEEVECODE and voluntary support contact. Website traffic and hosting are covered by the website policy. Changes to this policy will be identified by an updated effective date.
